About UsSlavin Studios is located in the lovely village of Rye Brook, on the outskirts of Port Chester New York. 45 Minutes north of New York City. The studio is in a 1890 colonial carriage house with a large property overlooking a pond. It's surrounded by old trees and there's a silo nearby as a reminder of the days when the property was used as a farm.
Here is where the magic happens. With 15 years of drawing experience, virtually all designing is executed in-house. After confirmation on a design, Brett Slavin begins his unique way of manipulating clay into a work of art. Depending on the needs of each project, any one of six types of clay may be used, from terracotta to white stoneware. Slavin also mixes glazes and colors specific to each design.
Whether it be a 3-D tile mural, architectural ceramics, sculpture, or functional pottery, there's no place like Slavin Studios to bring your ideas to reality.
Designers and architects are welcome, as well as institutions and the general public.
